SOBIC collaborates with numerous partners from science and research institutions, such as University of Ostrava, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Silesian University in Opava, Palacký University Olomouc, National Centre for Energy, the research institute Material and Metallurgical Research Ltd., University College of Business in Prague, research organisation Centrum výzkumu Řež (CVŘ), Institute of Thermomechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Moravian-Silesian Energy Centre. We also collaborate with business companies, such as Třinecké železárny or wBTCB.cz, museums etc.

The international cooperation is essential in quality research, knowledge transfer and cooperation. While working on specific topics, we address recognized foreign experts to ensure effective intersectoral cooperation.

The Memorandum of Cooperation between SOBIC and Fraunhofer Institute, IAO was signed by prof. Anette Weisbecker and Mr. Daniel Konczyna on February 2018. The main objective of the partnership is to support the application of innovations in cities and regions of the Czech Republic, especially in the Moravian-Silesian Region.
