SOBIC is one of the partners in CLAIRO (Clear Air and Climate Adaptation in Ostrava and Other cities). CLAIRO is a pilot project focused on innovative greenery solutions. The aim of the project is to find the best mechanisms for the systematic reduction of air pollution through comprehensive planning and planting of urban greenery with a positive impact to air quality.
The main partner of the project is the Statutory City of Ostrava, the other partners are:

- VSB – Technical University of Ostrava
- Silesian University in Opava
- Palacky University Olomouc
- The Regional Association of Territorial Cooperation of Tesin Silesia
- SOBIC Smart & Open Base for Innovations in European Cities
The SOBIC role in the project is to raise awareness on innovative urban solutions, to engage citizens into air quality policy and to promote project output through organization of informative and educational events, realisation of public surveys and design of the Study on behavioural changes of the population in relation to air quality improvement.
